Ready Set Dive! Funding for Adaptive Scuba for the Handicapped Diver

Ready Set Dive! is how Oahu Adventures Foundation, Inc. supports scuba diving for handicapped people. We funnel funds we receive from grants and donations to organizations such as The Handicapped Scuba Association (https://www.hsascuba.com/), Dive Pirates Foundation (http://www.divepirates.org/), International Association for Handicapped Divers (http://www.iahd.org/), and DiveHeart (https://www.diveheart.org/) ($1,100 in 2020).

In 2021 we are embarking on two projects directly helping the handicapped scuba diver community:

Funding two scuba vacations (when safe) for a diver and two companion divers for support. This will hopefully jumpstart a grant from a major foundation by being proof-of-concept.

Cataloging dive destinations that are supportive of handicapped scuba divers including travel, accommodations, diving, equipment, and instruction. In this way, the dive travel world can easily research and recommend appropriate dive vacation spots and services.

So our goal for 2021 is to be able to invest over $10,000 in the handicapped diver project Ready Set Dive! Please donate what you can by using the Donate button that takes you to Paypal.  Thank you in advance.

You can also save us a service fee by sending a check to Oahu Adventures Foundation, Inc. 6960 Feldspar Place in Carlsbad, CA  92009.
